Grocery Store Wars

The grocery store fell under the control of the “Empire Army.” Food products became contaminated with pesticide and chemicals or were genetically modified. The Rebellious Army fought back with pesticide-free organic farming.

The habitats of wildlife are rapidly losing areas to development by mankind.

Documenting Kurotaro’s Family for a DecadeYashiro, a Village Living with Hooded Cranes

In autumn, hooded cranes from faraway Siberia visit the Yashiro Basin in Yamaguchi Prefecture. The film documents the close tie between Yashiro residents and the cranes from the Meiji Era to present day.

Water is lifeblood of the Earth. The film reports the state of water at agricultural sites worldwide. It questions the Japanese eating habit from the perspective of water crisis.

The film describes how the lives of Palestinians were destroyed and lost under occupation. The pain and sorrow were burned onto the lens as the camera rolled.
