インドのシュリプラカッシュ監督から国際署名のお願いが届きました。
シュリプラカッシュさんのメールによりますと、
昨年１２月２４日、ジャドゥゴダの放射性廃棄物の輸送パイプの一本が破裂し、
廃棄物が近くの小川に流れ込んでしまったということです。
嘆願書は、インドのエネルギー省など、
関係当局に至急できる限りの対応策を講じるよう要請するものです。

On December 24, 2006, one of the pipes carrying radioactive wastes from the uranium mill to a storage dam had burst, discharging highly toxic wastes into a nearby creek. When released into the environment in such a hazardous manner, the radioactive wastes are deadly to the people living in the surrounding area as well as their land and water.

in 80’s a big burst had happened in tailing dam no 1… we don’t have any information of it… how much tailing went in to Gara river….
so it is very important to know the contamination in water sources…….
will you advice us in this regard/
we are getting news from state of Bengal in india that in Haripur in Midnapur district, government is going for another nuclear power plant(one in Sundervan), so it is important to know in detail of the us-indo, here there is opinion that US has older technology with compair to French and other Europe so us want to sale it to thirld world..
can any one tell more in this matter…….
